Dr. Mayur Nandikar- Ph.D Botany
Designation-Senior Scientist
Plant Taxonomy and Authentication division, APTRF. He has more than 11 years of experience in the field of botany, plant taxonomy, conservation and botanical history. Published more than 40 research articles, described 15 new species to science and named more than 25 plants. He is a member of IUCN Species Survival Commission (Western Ghats Plant Specialist Group).
He is also serving as the moderator of eflora of India, reviewer for different plant taxonomy journals and sectional editor of Phytotaxa.

He is a certified instructor for the American Heart Association (AHA) in Basic (BLS), Advanced (ACLS) and Pediatric (PALS) Life Support and has trained thousands of healthcare professionals in life-saving skills across India and abroad.
